It has come to our attention thanks to some community partners, that Lubbock ISD has various pornographic and explicit books currently in their library. Out of the 1,600 books that have been reported, only 7 have been removed. On Aug. 19th there is a special LISD School Board meeting over this issue specifically, and we need to make a strong showing. It will be at 5 PM at the LISD administration building.
Here is how we can help: We need 20 students willing to testify in front of the LISD School Board And we need 100 students/parents, etc. sitting in at the meeting.
